Watercolour paintings

Picture
Cats on Wall
This is a nice summers day and the cats meet up and sit on the wall for some sun but the blue cat on the left is slipping off the wall because he is too small and no other cat will help him!
This art work has movement in.
I did this when I was 7 years old.

Picture
Villagers
This isn't my favourite but it is some villagers walking around in a cartoon-ish way like the cats on a wall.
I did this when I was 7 years old.

Picture
Summer's Beginning
This is a bit like the villagers but it is the beginning of the morning.
I did this when I was 8 years old.

Picture
Bright Fish
This art work I did in a holiday club. It is not one of
my best but it was fun to do.

This was done on a paper plate which gives it the curved edges.

I did this when I was 10 years old.

Picture
Trio of Dolphins
There is movement in this art work like the cats on wall.
This piece is just blues and greens.
I did this when I was 9 years old.

Picture
Running Horse on Hills
This horse is having a run in the open field galloping along the grass.
I did this when I was 7 years old.

Picture
Growing Poppies
Poppies are growing in a field in May.
I did this when I was 9 years old.

Picture
Spring Poppies
I did this when I was 10 years old in an art lesson.

My friends kept telling me to be more messy because
I always try to be neat! (e.g. more splodges on my work!!!)
I am going to try to do more poppies.

Picture
Easter Animals
I did this for an Easter card and there are bunnies and chicks born in Easter because that is when animals are born.
I did this when I was 8 years old.

Picture
Flower Study (Unfinished)
I did this in art lesson at school, practising how to draw different flowers in different ways, from side angles to tipping front angles.  I enjoyed doing the little green leaves.  I didn't finish it because I ran out of time, but I think I like it this way.
I did this when I was 8 years old.

Picture
Christmas Candy Cane Stamp
I did this for a Christmas stamp competition for the Royal Mail, but I never submitted it as I preferred the other one I did of a dove.
I used cotton buds with different colours colliding together.
I did it when I had just turned 9 years old.

Picture
Colourful Flower in a vase
This a is a picture of some flowers in a vase. I did this at my old house in the country. It is a group of colourful flowers.
It was already in a frame when I found it in a drawer.

I did this when I was 6 years old.

Picture
Look on the Bright Side
This painting is saying look on the bright side because the flower is facing the bright side and leaving all the bad and dark things behind.

I did this when I was 9 years old.

Picture
Dangling Baby's Head
This painting was based on Picasso's painting called Guernica. What I did was I chose one part in the picture Guernica, and focused just on that as the subject of my painting.  I chose the dangling baby's head.

It is on corrugated cardboard which gives it texture and shading.

I did this at school when I was 9 years old, in year 5.
